Nico was our second borzoi. We only had Dany a few months when we found out that Anne Midgarden of Teine Borzoi had bred her lovely Daru, and there were still puppies available. We had just moved into the country, and our fence had only been up a few days when we went to see her and Nico came home with us. Unlike Dany, Nico got carsick as a puppy, and the first thing he did was throw up on Amy! Since then, he got over being carsick and started traveling to shows and lure coursing trials. He finished his AKC Field Championship quickly, and then he finished his conformation Championship. He has also done well in the open field. He was bred once to Anne's Eclipse, and the puppies from that litter have been very successful in both ring and field. He was also bred to Bonnie Nichols' Amber, who whelped in June of 2011. His children and grandchildren have been the foundation of our breeding program.
