Phoenix was bred by Bonnie Nichols of Nickolai Borzoi. Bonnie was a dear friend and mentor, and left us
much too soon. She bred her Amber to my Nico in April of 2011. In June, the Winds litter was born. In August,
Bonnie passed away unexpectedly. Her friends in the borzoi community worked together to ensure all her
beloved dogs had homes! I had responsibility for placing the puppies sired by my dog.
Deborah Dine was an old friend of Bonnie's, and was of immeasurable help to her family after Bonnie's death.
She was a true friend to Bonnie, and has given a loving home to Dragon and Phoenix. Phoenix is a fun dog,
and we have hopes for him on the coursing field.
Phoenix is DM cleared by parentage.
We are sad to report that Phoenix passed away at a young age, from an undetermined cause. He is greatly missed.
